Born and raised in Athens-Greece, Avgi is a
graduate of Athens College School, the American
College of Greece - Deree College (bachelor: Fine Arts), the National School of Dance of Greece and Orfeus Conservatory (flute studies). As part of her artistic training she attended dance and music courses in Paris-France and Boston-U.S.A. Over the last years she has been collaborating among others with the Hellenic Dance Company(performed in Greece and France), Aenaon Dancetheater Daniel Lommel(performed in Greece, France, Egypt), ART Dance theater Artemis Ignatiou(performed in Greece and China). Since 1994 she is participating in the lighting ceremony of the Olympic Games in Ancient Olympia.
